February '17

If you haven't noticed yet, I take a lot of deck sunset pictures.  God just puts on too good of a show to not document it.

 February 6, 2017 "I kinda love this view. #home #HPCO"

And then there are some nights you come home to your farmer husband doing "yard work" and document the pretty sunset and the tractor sitting in your front yard.  I love this life.

February 10, 2017 "You know you're a farm wife when your husband says
he's at home working on the yard and you see a tractor in front of your house!

And the next day when your husband is still working on the yard and the dog follows you inside - that is strange you think....then she immediately lays down on the bathroom floor and sleeps!  Yard work is hard work!

Can't.  Move.  #dally #pharmwifefarmlife"

February 12, 2017 "Someone's still very sleepy.  I've never
seen a dog sleep flat on their back like Dally does.

There was a beautiful February day and we decided to break in the fire pit!  It was a fun night full of kiddos roasting hotdogs and s'mores, a few roasting sticks lost to the fire, and lots of laughter.  It was a great night!

Ashlin, Tripp and I made a quick weekend trip to Nebraska to see Ashli and Shae while Ashli was on bed rest waiting on Miss Lexi Lew's arrival.  It was so good to see Ashli and spend some time with her!  Her story is a heartbreaking, inspiring and perfect one of how God is good and his timing is perfect.  Little miss Lexi is so loved and is doing so well now!

 February 19, 2017 "It was a great weekend with this {very}
soon to be mama!!"

February 20th we had another baby appointment.  10 weeks!  Since we struggled in the past we got to do a lot of things that not everyone gets to do.  We had the really early ultrasound and then got to have another one this day.  Dr. Cline was checking to make sure the cord was attaching like it was supposed to.  Baby was doing great!  Heartbeat was still strong and in the 160s and the cord was connecting just like it was supposed to.  Praise God!!  This is the point where the worry lessened a little more and our excitement grew.  It was so nice to be able to see our baby again and be reassured that everything was going according to plan.  At this point the sickness was really starting to ramp up, but hey, this mama didn't care one bit!  Sickness is a good sign that I never had before, so again I was thankful for it!  We now dropped from 25% chance of losing baby C to 3-7%.  We had been in that 7% before, so as comforting as it was to see everything going well and baby C wiggling around like CRAZY, we still had a long time ahead of us and a lot of prayers needed.

There he or she is!  At this point we still didn't know what we were having.  Ben and I's minds were set on boy!  Check back later to see if we were right or not!

We had told most of our family and close friends after this appointment, since everything was looking so good.  Here is the night we went to see Pat and Stretch to tell them.  They were both excited and Stretch kept asking question after question about the baby! (Pardon how extremely large my thigh looks! Whoops - trying to sneak in a picture)

This day had to be marked down and documented - the day I not only held a chicken, but I helped unload about 10 of them with Katie!  This may not seem like much to anyone and yes, people are probably laughing into their computer/tablet/phone screens, but this was a REAL big deal for me! :)  Cooper was so proud of me for being so brave! Hahaha! Yes, Cooper is 4 and much more brave than I!

And to round out the month - we finally got a bump pic of my SIL, Samantha!  Look at how adorable she is!  Can't wait to spoil that little one just as much as I do his/her older sister!

February Weekend at Home

We had a fun weekend back at my parents with all my siblings and Miss Sawyer Rose!  She continues to get more and more outgoing and I love it!  She is as sassy as she is sweet and this auntie can't get enough of her.

She also has some pretty impressive bed head in the morning.

Her buddy, Cayden, came over to play too - look at her ornery grin!

We also got in some fun time at the park.

She thinks Uncle Ben is pretty cool.

I think EVERYONE enjoyed park time.

Auntie Em is the best - Aunt Amanda needs to stop taking pictures apparently!

Look who's starting to get lots of little teeth?  This is the only way she will let us look at them because she thinks Papa is playing a game with her.

See what I mean - she's adorable!!

February 5, 2017 "This weekend was awesome - we enjoyed it as much as she
enjoyed Nana's spaghetti. #sweetsawyerrose"
